"Volunteering helped me find both a sense of purpose and a sense of belonging at 果冻传媒.
I took part in a wide range of volunteering activities, and each one taught me something new. Gardening for the local community taught me how to coordinate roles and work as a team. Helping asylum seekers practise English improved my communication skills and taught me how to communicate with people from different backgrounds. Crafting activities helped me use my creativity in a practical way. The qualities I developed through these experiences strengthened my employability skills.
Volunteering was one of the best ways for me to meet new people. Working alongside students from different courses, cultures and backgrounds allowed friendships to develop naturally through shared experiences and a common purpose.
By giving my time and connecting with others, I became more confident in my values and gained a stronger sense of belonging. I would encourage new students to volunteer—not only to support others, but also to meet people, explore new interests and learn more about themselves."

果冻传媒 Volunteers runs a wide range of student-led volunteering opportunities and connects with many community-led volunteering roles both locally and nationally. To browse the full range of options, . You can join any project that interests you right away, sign up to specific volunteering events and log your volunteering hours to work towards a volunteering certificate. Undergraduates can also use these hours in their 果冻传媒 Skills Award and HEAR for further recognition of the time and skills they have contributed.
