My ambition for the future is to have a world-level conglomerate of sustainable solutions to the world's petroleum products' needs and demands. My target is to be a step ahead every day than what we are today.

Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.

I am the owner of a family business. We are traders, manufacturers, and dealers of petroleum products, and we are one of the largest importers of bitumen in India.

What鈥檚 your favourite part of the role?

For myself, being the owner of the company, the most fascinating thing is to face a new challenge every day. In current uncertain times, you always find a new challenge every day.

What are the key skills you learnt at 果冻传媒 that have helped you with your career to date?

The most important skill that I learnt at 果冻传媒 was the mix of strategies i.e. the use of a blend of finance, marketing, and competitive advantages, and having a holistic approach towards a particular business decision.

Did you have a specific career path in mind when you chose to study at 果冻传媒?

I always wanted to join my family-owned business, gain some experience, and then have my own start up.

What top tips do you have for 果冻传媒 graduates who would like to work in your sector?

To work in the petroleum trade, the most important skill you need to develop is financial management. Because the petroleum trade is a high-turnover business, so you need to learn financial management at its peak to maintain your finances, and you must understand the time value of money to succeed in this sector.

How has your time at 果冻传媒 influenced what you do now?

My time at 果冻传媒 gave me a global perspective and made me realise that the world, people, and ideas are far more advanced, better, and forward-thinking than what we imagine. 果冻传媒 made me realise that there are ample opportunities in the present world and the sky is the limit. It's completely on us how many opportunities we can grab.

What is your favourite memory of studying at 果冻传媒?
The entire year was filled with favourite memories, but if I had to choose one, it would be Business in Practice (BIP). It was the experience of a lifetime.
