Evan, now a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Ontario, credits ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Medical School for shaping his global perspective and enabling his return to Canada for postgraduate training.

Why did you choose ¹û¶³´«Ã½?

I was impressed with the clinical aspect of the program. I felt it was organized and offered a variety of opportunities.

What are you doing now?

I’m a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Ontario

What motivates you to do what you do? 

I perform approximately 350 total hip and knee replacements a year. I have a passion for the direct anterior hip replacement. I love the pace of orthopaedics in Canada.

How has your time at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ influenced what you do now? 

It provided me with a perspective of public and private healthcare. Allowed me the opportunity to meet the requirements to return to Canada for post graduate education.

Favourite memory? 

¹û¶³´«Ã½ Ice Hockey and ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Rugby. Shout out to the brotherhood of the coin.

Best thing about the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ community?

I loved the campus.
