Welcome Week
As well as the university-wide events for Welcome Week, there are a range of activities taking place in the History Department to help you to settle in. Please see your Personal Welcome Week timetable as well as the full schedule of History events, below. These will all appear in your Welcome Week timetable:

Important notice. Personal Tutor Meetings 鈥� Welcome Week
You鈥檒l meet with your personal tutor on either Monday or Tuesday during Welcome Week. These meetings will be in a relaxed group format and are a great opportunity to get to know your tutor and fellow students.
The meeting will appear in your personal timetable, but please note it may not be visible yet. Don鈥檛 worry鈥攐nce it鈥檚 scheduled, the office will send you an email with all the details including room number and time.

| Talk: Question Everything! What does it mean to be a historian? An interactive session led by members of the department, discussing what it means to be a historian, the key skills and strengths to be a good historian, and how we can all be accountable to each other as historians at 果冻传媒. |

A session for joint degree students with a different department as home department (English and History, Global Sustainable Development, Liberal Arts, Law with Humanities and History and Languages. This is for students who have not otherwise been present for History welcome week events and a chance to meet key staff, find out about the department and ask any questions. |
