Please note: this scheme is not run by the HRC.

This funding opportunity, run by RIS is open to ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Arts Faculty and CRPLA academic staff, Doctoral and MA Research students.

Doctoral and MA Research students can only apply for conference travel and publication funding.

About Us

• provide an over-arching structure for research activities in the Humanities;
• work with RIS to encourage and support the Faculty’s research excellence;
• raise the public profile of Arts research at ¹û¶³´«Ã½;
• promote research activities among all staff in the Faculty;
• help consolidate existing research activities in the Arts;
• initiate new research activities and groupings;
• support interdisciplinary research within the Faculty and between Faculties;
• advise on and encourage the pursuit of outside funding for Arts research
