This one-day symposium is a collaboration between Film and Television Studies at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Film, Radio and Television at the University of São Paulo (USP) and brings together scholars and practictioners to discuss the historical, social, political and ecological interventions cinema and related media can make in making visible a disappearing world. It includes a keynote from Prof. Joanna Zylinska (Goldsmiths) and a conversation with filmmaker and scholar Joshua Bonnetta, who will be screening and talking about his award-winning film El Mar, La Mar (Joshua Bonnetta and J.P. Sniadecki, 2018).
