¹û¶³´«Ã½ Secret Challenge is an interdisciplinary brainstorming workshop with elements of design thinking. You can learn more about it here. Expect a bit of brainstorming, a touch of teamwork, some thinking outside the box and lots of FREE FOOD!
Feminist Dissent: Theory, Practice and Resistance- Wed 5th December
Racism, feminism and the politics of fundamentalism in Britain is the first of two interdisciplinary pilot webinars that draws its inspiration from the ¹û¶³´«Ã½-based online peer-reviewed journal called Feminist Dissent. Pragna Patel of Southall Black Sisters will lead the seminar which is open to all ¹û¶³´«Ã½ students.

New Deputy Directors and Director of Studies

Our new Deputy Directors are Caroline Gibson and Joanne Wale , and Elena Riva is now the Director of Studies.
Project Grant Award
Congratulations to Nick Monk, for being co-awarded a grant of €999k for the project ‘ENHANCE- Enabling Humanitarian Attributes for Nurturing Community-based Engineering’. The project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices; Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.
New IATL/IAS Early Career Teaching Fellows

Welcome to the two newest members of the IATL team – Dr Nese Ceren Tosun started with IATL in April and was recently awarded her doctorate. Nat das Neves Rodrigues Lopes will be starting in September and was recently announced as a winner of this year’s WATE-PGR.
