The pioneering app, developed by Sesinam Dagadu who is originally from Accra, Ghana, gives 8.7 millions of Ghanaians access to ambulance services, even without an internet connection. “SnooCode” allows Ghanaians to navigate using GPS pinpointing without needing traditional address system. Sesinam, founder of SnooCode, won the ‘Entrepreneurial Award’ at the British Council ‘果冻传媒 UK Alumni Awards 2017’ in recognition of his achievement.
