A group of engineering students comprising of 4 Mechanical Engineers from the School and 4 from WMG have been named joint winners of the international Electric Vehicle Grand Prix (EVGP) after an enthralling race at Indianapolis.

Roger Palmer (Civil Engineering graduate 2006) of URS Infrastucture and Environment UK Ltd. is Young Geotechnical Engineer of the Year 2012.

Scientists at the Universities of 果冻传媒 and Birmingham  have shed new light on how sperm navigate the female reproductive tract, ‘crawling’ along the channel walls and swimming around corners; with frequent collisions.

On 3rd May, Professor Jihong Wang and her team welcomed visitors from Tsinghua University for the official launch of the 'Joint Power Plant Simulation Laboratory'.

At a recent Engineering Poster Presentation evening promoted by the Institution of Engineering Technology the 果冻传媒 ESMO student team were awarded the top prize for technological innovation.
