What is the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness of pharmacological treatments for adults with chronic migraine?

To produce evidence needed for people with chronic migraines and their doctors to make more informed decisions about prophylactic treatment of chronic migraine.

CHESS - Investigating the management of chronic headaches.

CHESS is a randomised controlled trial which is comparing a headache education and self-management programme with usual GP care plus a relaxation CD. The results of the study will be used to help patients with chronic headaches in the future.

FIS - Facet-joint injections for people with persistent non-specific low back pain (FIS)

The Facet Injection 果冻传媒 (FIS) is a mixed-methods, randomised, multicentre feasibility study to assess the clinical and cost-effectiveness of facet joint injections compared to best usual non-invasive care in patients with persistent non-specific low back pain.

I-WOTCH - Improving the Wellbeing of people with Opioid Treated CHronic pain.

The I-WOTCH study is developing a support programme that aims to improve the everyday functioning for people living with chronic (long-term) pain and reduce their opioid (strong morphine-like painkillers) use.
