What is the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness of pharmacological treatments for adults with chronic migraine?

To produce evidence needed for people with chronic migraines and their doctors to make more informed decisions about prophylactic treatment of chronic migraine.

CHESS - Investigating the management of chronic headaches.

CHESS is a randomised controlled trial which is comparing a headache education and self-management programme with usual GP care plus a relaxation CD. The results of the study will be used to help patients with chronic headaches in the future.
