Enhancing Student Engagement Conference 2017
The Student Engagement Partnership are hosting a conference for staff based in students’ unions and HE providers whose roles relate to the delivery, management or planning of student engagement practice within higher education. This will include those involved a variety of roles such as student representation, student voice, policy staff, those working in educational development, student/membership services and more. The conference is designed to equip practitioners with new insights and provide a collaborative space for development of new thinking and practice sharing on student engagement.

ELESIG are running a free Learner Experience Research (LER) MOOC is for HE and FE and Skills staff who are interested in undertaking action research into learners' experiences of technologies within an educational setting. This is a reminder that the next Extended Classroom User Group will take place on Monday 5th December 2-4pm in the Teaching Grid. We will have the usual news and updates on centrally supported Academic Technology tools.
User discussions and contributions are always welcomed. Presentations this time will include an introduction to H5P, a tool that allows smart looking interactive content to be created, and will soon to be added to Moodle. We will also see how the library have been making use of the Moodle Scheduler tool to book and organise workshops.
