Topics in Development Economics 2 - for Finalists

Principal Aims

The module aims to deepen and broaden the students' understanding of the problems and features of developing

economies and of global inequalities. It is based on the modern analytical quantitative approach adopted by the main

international development institutions, with an emphasis on the most recent advances in the field. The students will be

provided with the qualitative and quantitative tools to critically analyse current world problems related to income

inequality and economic development, using rigorous analysis and specialised knowledge.
