There are lots of exciting events happening within the Law School. Plus there are many other University and external events which may be of interest. We have therefore collated them all into one central calendar to help you choose which you would like to attend.
This Girl Can Keynote Speaker Event
This Girl Can Keynote Speakers: Dr Martine Barons and Dan Richardson
Dr Martine Barons will deliver a keynote session, sharing details of her academic and sporting journey, including the challenges she has faced and the lessons she has learned. This session forms part of our This Girl Can campaign and provides a great opportunity to hear how sport and academia can be successfully pursued alongside one another.
Following this, Dan Richardson, Registered Performance Nutritionist, will deliver a session exploring how nutrition can be tailored to support the unique needs of female athletes and those engaging in sport and physical activity, whether on a regular or occasional basis.
From energy balance and recovery to menstrual cycle considerations and bone health, Dan will discuss practical strategies to optimise fuelling, maximise training adaptations, and support long-term wellbeing.
