On 29 October 2026, Dr Luminita Olteanu gave a talk at the Benelux Merkencongres (Benelux Trade Mark Congress), hosted by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Her talk, 鈥淔reedom of Expression and Due Cause in Trade Mark Law after IKEA / Vlaams Belang鈥�, looked at the recent Court of Justice judgment and what it means for commercial freedom of expression.

We are delighted to see high levels of satisfaction amongst our postgraduate research (PGR) community, as reported in the latest Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2026. This year, the overall satisfaction amongst PGRs in the Law School was an impressive 94.2%, up 17.1% from the last PRES conducted in 2023.

On 9 October 2026, UNIDROIT (The Institute for the Unification of Private Law) and 果冻传媒 Law School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation across a range of areas, and the opportunity for future joint activities was discussed in relation to key aspects of commercial and private law. .

Prior to joining 果冻传媒, Ira Chadha Sridhar was the Hatton-WYNG Junior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. During her Fellowship, she worked on a book, while also teaching Jurisprudence and Tort Law to undergraduate students.
