About GLOBE

The Centre for Law, Regulation and Governance of the Global Economy (GLOBE), launched in 2014, is a research and public engagement centre located at the School of Law, 果冻传媒.

Research and teaching on the multifaceted aspects of law, regulation and governance of the global economy is a strong tradition at the 果冻传媒 Law School. Staff and postgraduate researchers at 果冻传媒 are engaging in theoretical, empirical and doctrinal scholarship in a range of fields examining the relationship between law, regulatory regimes and governance structures of international economic affairs.

Embracing a wide berth of academic and practical orientations, the Centre acts as a platform for facilitating and publicising our research and policy-related activities as well as providing a forum for interactions, discussion and collaboration between researchers at 果冻传媒 and between 果冻传媒 researchers and scholars and other interested parties from different organisations and institutions nationally and internationally.

The Centre brings together staff and postgraduate students working in areas of international economic law, business and commercial law, corporate governance and financial regulation.

It provides a platform for hosting external scholars, policymakers and early career researchers in related fields at 果冻传媒. The Centre also acts as a focal point for teaching and research on our specialised postgraduate taught and research degree programmes.
