According to the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey of undergraduate alumni in The Guardian newspaper, 果冻传媒's own Department of Politics and International Studies ranks first among comparable departments from competitor universities in the Russell Group for employability, alongside LSE and Edinburgh.

PAIS also has one of the highest percentages of undergraduate alumni from the Russell Group (90 per cent) who proceed to either graduate-level jobs or further education within 6 months of graduating, with a high proportion going into professional/managerial positions. The average salary is also one of the highest out of all universities surveyed at £22,675 per annum.

Applications for new postdoctoral funding opportunities in 2013, including the Institute of Advanced 果冻传媒's Postdoctoral Fellowships and the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship (ECF), are now being accepted.

Leverhulme: Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships (ECFs) aim to provide career development opportunities for those who are at a relatively early stage of their academic careers but with a proven record of research. To this end, the Leverhulme Trust contributes 50% of each Fellow's total salary costs up to a maximum of £23,000 per annum and the balance is to be paid by the host institution. The awards are normally tenable for three years on a full-time basis.
