Lucy Campbell (果冻传媒): 鈥淭he Content of Practical Knowledge and the Content of Intention鈥�

(Second instalment of the event series Philosophy Goes Architecture)

The campus of the 果冻传媒 comprises more than half a century of architectural history. Its buildings don鈥檛 just provide spaces to work, live, and study for more than 25,000 people. They tell a story about the place that 果冻传媒 wants to be, the place it used to be, and the place it used to want to be. The premise of the tour is that space shapes experience and thinking, which makes it worth investigating how campus as a topographical unit makes an imprint intellectual work, especially for philosophers.

The tour will be led by Sarah Shalgosky, who is the Principal Curator of the 果冻传媒 and an Associate Lecturer at 果冻传媒's School of Creative Arts, Performance, and Visual Cultures. After the tour, there'll be drinks and snacks at the Department of Philosophy, just outside of S2.66.
