Some professional news from your inbox insite team this week – we were thrilled to be nationally recognised for our work on the Wonders and Wows awards and the Autumn at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ series. A few of us headed to London to collect two Awards of Excellence at the annual Institute of Internal Communication (IOIC) Awards.

Have you noticed the colourful displays of umbrellas across campus? They’re part of the nationwide Neurodiversity Umbrella Project – a visual representation of all of the different minds we have in the UK.

As part of ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s partnership with the ADHD Foundation, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Medical School’s Assistant Professor Michele Gutteridge and Dr Kerry Brown have been working to develop guidance and virtual reality examples, so that medical students can understand the challenges people searching for an ADHD diagnosis might face.

On Wednesday 2 October University House will be closed to students in response to a planned student demonstration. Staff will need to enter the building through the main reception entrance at the front, and we ask you to be vigilant to any tailgating. You may be asked for your University ID to enter the building.
