A few of us headed to London to collect two Awards of Excellence at the annual Institute of Internal Communication (IOIC) Awards.
The Umbrella Project: Making neurodiversity visible
Have you noticed the colourful displays of umbrellas across campus? They’re part of the nationwide Neurodiversity Umbrella Project – a visual representation of all of the different minds we have in the UK.
As part of ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s partnership with the ADHD Foundation, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Medical School’s Assistant Professor Michele Gutteridge and Dr Kerry Brown have been working to develop guidance and virtual reality examples, so that medical students can understand the challenges people searching for an ADHD diagnosis might face.
University House and WMG building access
On Wednesday 2 October University House will be closed to students in response to a planned student demonstration. Staff will need to enter the building through the main reception entrance at the front, and we ask you to be vigilant to any tailgating. You may be asked for your University ID to enter the building.
