Following an Acas meeting between UCEA and the Joint HE Trade Unions on Tuesday, 14 March 2023, a covering a review of pay spines, workload, contract types and pay gaps. The Joint HE Trade Unions and UCEA will now consult their members on these terms of reference as a basis for moving forward with negotiations.

The University’s Academic Returners Fellowship supports additional study leave for those on all academic contracts who are returning to work from long-term leave. The policy has been updatedLink opens in a new window and now applies to staff on all academic pathways.
¹û¶³´«Ã½ food voucher scheme
¹û¶³´«Ã½ Retail has re-introduced the food voucher schemeLink opens in a new window, allowing departments to create their own food and drink vouchers to spend in any of the University-managed coffee shops or in Rootes Grocery Store. The current system for cross-charges will remain in effect while departments familiarise themselves with the new system, but will end on Friday 24 March.
