Be a part of UN Urban October: Co-creating Regional Resilience
Share and discuss contemporary practices and research initiatives related to co-creation, hear evidence-based examples and ideas for fostering grassroots collaboration, and network with regional stakeholders on 17 October. To further develop ideas that have been discussed, academics will be able to apply for two small grants to take ideas forward.

Annual registration for staff dental insurance now open
¹û¶³´«Ã½ employees can register for dental insurance at preferred rates, to help with dental care and hygiene costs. Choose a plan that allows claims over costly dental treatments, routine check-ups, and hygiene visits at any dentist – NHS or otherwise.
New spaces in the Library
To help students and staff to work together and to improve the university experience, we’ve opened new spaces in the Library - a Co-creation Space for students and staff to work together, plus the Breathing Space to support student wellbeing. Lib 1 study space is also now managed by the Library.
The Autumn season at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Arts Centre has now launched with exclusive 2-4-1 offers for ¹û¶³´«Ã½ staff. Highlights include Aurora Orchestra, K-Music Sensation Dongyang Gozupa, ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Arts Centre’s new co-commission, A Dead body in Taos by David Farr and Alina Bzhezhinska/ HipHarp Collective.

A community update regarding Professor Tom Marsh
Read an updated message from Chris Ennew, Provost, about the help and support in place regarding Professor Tom Marsh, who has been reported as missing in Chile.
Students in Cryfield block 1 may use hot water in blocks 2 and 3, and the Sports and Wellness hub while maintenance continues this weekend
Please would staff help to share the message that there is currently no hot water in block one at Cryfield and this situation will continue over the weekend.
The Maintenance team is trying their best to resolve the issue of sourcing a replacement part.
Notices have been placed throughout the block to inform students living in Cryfield 1 that they may use hot water in blocks 2 and 3 as well as the Sports and Wellness hub should they need to do so, in the short-term.
