Summer celebrations and changes to campus
With a host of celebrations taking place across campus, we want to remind you that we are encouraging staff, where possible and with the agreement of your line manager, to consider working from home from 4 July to 31 July. If you are planning to continue working on campus, some car parks will be affected, so make sure to check the to help plan your journey. Here, you will also find information on new fencing that will be going up in some areas of campus to create the Accreditation Zone for the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village.

Meet the Faculty of Arts Community: Emma Mason
With many members of our staff community now calling the new Faculty of Arts Building their professional home, we met with Professor Emma Mason, Head of Department, English and Comparative Literary Studies, to hear her thoughts on what the relocation means to her.
We鈥檝e become the founding academic partner in an innovation hub that is the first of its kind in the UK, led by Plug and Play and Jaguar Land Rover. The programme will build an ecosystem of start-ups and scale-ups, corporates, investors, and academia to explore the challenges and solutions that will define the future of the mobility sector, create jobs, and help shape the digital economy.
Excellence in Gender Equality Award
The 果冻传媒 Institutional Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team and the Gender Taskforce are pleased to launch this year's Excellence in Gender Equality Award, to acknowledge commitment to gender equality and share best practice.
