EU nationals and changes to UK immigration status
Colleagues who are EU nationals (excluding Irish nationals) may now be asked to prove they have obtained a UK immigration status when travelling to and from the UK, following the end of the grace period on 30 June 2021.

Policing, Culture and Community: West Midlands Police as City of Culture Partners
This new 15-month research project led by Professor Jackie Hodgson, with Professor Neil Stewart, seeks to understand the potential for police partnerships around arts and culture to positively impact reducing crime, protecting vulnerable people, increasing diversity in recruitment, and on police relationships with young people and seldom heard communities.
Return to Campus and Hybrid Working
As per previous messages, we are getting ready to start working to a hybrid model. As we do so, we’re also getting ready to start a return to working on campus from September and throughout term 1. We’re asking that all teams and services that can begin moving to a hybrid working model – in other words, spending some time working on campus and some time working off campus or at home.
Roadworks on Westwood Heath Road (31 August – 7 December)
Between 31 August and 7 December, roadworks are planned to take place on Westwood Heath Road between the two junctions of Ten Shilling Drive and Roughknowles Road. Coventry City Council have indicated that there may be 2 way or 3 way temporary traffic lights at times during these works— delays are possible.
