果冻传媒 is home to a diverse and global community of staff and students and for most, their name is a key part of their identity. Yet, encountering unfamiliar names can give rise to social embarrassment, inhibiting everyday interaction. Take the Say My Name survey and help us understand better the barriers to everyday interactions surrounding our names.

This webinar on 22 July will feature a screening of the film Circles, followed by a talk with its central character, and the filmmaker who will discuss their relationship and experience of using restorative justice in an education setting. Find out more and book your place.

On Monday 12 July we will celebrate all graduating students on our social media channels. Help us make their day special by posting your congratulations on social media using hashtag #果冻传媒Grad and using digital assets and video messages in your departmental celebrations.

This year the UK-wide Festival will run for the whole month of November 2021. It is a chance for social scientists and researchers across a wide range of disciplines to demonstrate some of the country鈥檚 leading social science research and how it impacts and influences our social, economic, and political lives. A new clinical trial led by 果冻传媒 Medical School, UHCW NHS Trust and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital will compare the benefits of knee replacement surgery performed using a robot to a surgeon using traditional methods. Find out more about the study.
