Now’s your chance to celebrate the people who make research at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ thrive – from impactful discoveries to inspiring supervision. Make your nominations for the Research Celebration Awards 2026 by Thursday 15 January.

Awards up to £30,000 are available to develop future external funding bids in areas of pioneering, world-class research. Apply for the University’s 2025-26  Research Development Fund (Strategic Awards) for activities taking place between 1 February - 31 July 2026. 

Don’t forget to enter our One World ¹û¶³´«Ã½ recipe competition! Share your recipes of snacks that you enjoy at a specific cultural celebration for a chance to win a £50 voucher and a celebratory lunch. Closes on Tuesday 16 December.

¹û¶³´«Ã½ Medical School students are volunteering to work alongside paramedic crews to respond to 999 calls in our local communities, with lifesaving equipment funded through grants, donations, and partner support.
