Join the next lunchtime litter pick to help the Energy and Sustainability team to beat their record for collecting litter on campus.

Just add yours to any standard green-lidded recycling bin around campus – where you鈥檇 usually put items like plastic bottles or drinks cans – and Biffa, our waste managers, will transport it to a sorting centre.

Spending time in nature keeps us emotionally and physically healthy – and this is backed by a 果冻传媒 study, which found a strong relationship between the amount of green space around a person鈥檚 home and their feelings of life satisfaction and self-worth. We caught up with Kelly Baker, Grounds and Gardens Manager, to hear about some of the fantastic green projects happening on campus – including 鈥榣iving walls鈥�, which help to improve air quality and provide a calming green space for our community.
