鈥淚 would like to place on record our thanks to Hannah for playing such a key role in transforming our wellbeing services to ensure they reflect the changing needs of our student community, as well as introducing the first comprehensive institutional wellbeing strategy. I am very sorry to see her go but understand that this is too good an opportunity for her to pass up. The appointment is a tribute to her and her many achievements and I wish her every success."
Under Hannah鈥檚 leadership, we are now helping more students than at any time in our history, with simpler and more flexible access to a wider range of services, training and specialist support. This includes a 24/7 support helpline every day of the year for students as well as 鈥榳alk in鈥 consultations with trained advisors with wait times of typically 15 minutes or less.鈥
Hannah said:
鈥淚 have been fortunate to work with fabulous colleagues in Wellbeing and Safeguarding who are so passionately committed to student wellbeing. We鈥檝e been involved in some outstanding projects together; transforming services and developing strategy, none of which could have been achieved without such a dedicated group of people. I am proud to have played a part in that, and I know the University will continue to embed the strategy work to support the wellbeing of all staff and students.鈥
We wish Hannah the best of luck in her new role. The process of recruiting a high quality replacement will begin shortly.
