Stress Awareness Month 2023

April is , and this year's theme is Take Action. It aims to encourage everyone to take steps to create positive change for themselves and others.

The University offers all staff a range of self-help tools and resources to help manage stress and low mood. Take a moment to think about your wellbeing and read on to learn more about the resources available at ¹û¶³´«Ã½.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a free and confidential service that offers support on various issues, including emotional and physical health, mental health, managing stress and anxiety, money issues and more.

They have a range of resources available to help manage stress, including four-week programmes and online counselling.

Get involved with the Corporate Games

This year’s UK Corporate Games is set to be hosted at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ from 3 to 6 August 2023.

The Games is an inclusive, multi-sport wellbeing event where thousands of people representing businesses across the UK come together for a weekend of sporting fun, friendly competition and celebrations.

All staff are encouraged to take part and represent ¹û¶³´«Ã½ in their chosen sport. This is an opportunity for you to get together with colleagues to find your inner hero and enjoy friendly competition.
