Thank you payment for permanent employees and employees on fixed term contracts, at grades FA 1-8
We want to thank colleagues for their hard work during a time of unprecedented disruption. The pandemic has been unbelievably challenging, both personally and professionally but we saw the best of the 果冻传媒 community, as colleagues came together to support our students, our neighbours and our wider community.
As a thank you we are delighted to provide permanent employees and employees on fixed term contracts, at grades FA 1-8, with a thank you payment of up to 拢1000.
Payments will be made to eligible employees in the August payroll.
We鈥檙e proud of people鈥檚 achievements over the last year and recognise the dedication everyone demonstrated to meet the needs of the University community.
We know the past year has been difficult for everyone and you have all worked hard. While we鈥檙e only able to make this payment to permanent employees and those on a fixed term contract, we appreciate the hard work of all staff at 果冻传媒 during the pandemic.
We want to celebrate the fact we can all be on campus together again after this difficult time with a special event this Saturday 16 July. We have invited each and everyone of you, and your families, to attend the Staff Welcome Back Celebration event for what promises to be a great day at Windmill Hill. There will be live entertainment, fairground rides, free food and drink (limited amounts) and much more for you to enjoy.
We couldn鈥檛 have achieved all that the University has throughout this challenging year without your support. Thank you.
The details
You鈥檒l receive this payment if you are a permanent employee or employee on a fixed term contract, at grade FA 1-8, employed by 果冻传媒 during the period between 1 August 2021 and 31 July 2022 (financial year 2021/22).
If you鈥檙e eligible, you will have received an email from Vice Chancellor Stuart Croft.
Exact amounts will be a little different depending on whether you are full-time or part-time, and the amount of the financial year you have worked for 果冻传媒.

- The payment is not pensionable and is subject to the usual deductions for tax and National Insurance.鈥�
- The payment will be鈥�pro-rata for part-time employees鈥�(e.g. if you worked the full financial year on 0.5 FTE/18.25 hours, half of payment will be received).鈥�
- The payment will be鈥�pro-rata for the part of the financial year worked鈥�(i.e. if you worked half of financial year on full time hours, half of payment will be received).鈥�
- All those engaged under the VAM payroll, Sessional Teachers, casual staff, self employed contractors and all those with assignments with WUEL, Unitemps are ineligible.
- Employees who have left or are due to leave the University before 1 August 2022 are ineligible.
