Researchers from the 果冻传媒's Department of Biological Sciences have found evidence that bovine tuberculosis remains in fields for up to 4 months. This means that long after an outbreak of bovine TB on a farm healthy cattle may still be exposed to the disease from pasture that had been used by infected cows any time in the previous 4 months.

Two 果冻传媒 MBA graduates have formed a company that aims to take corporate staff training and team development far beyond outward bound courses and paint ball sessions. They have partnered up with a US company that makes virtual reality simulators for the US military, and they aim to retool that technology to produce a unique corporate team building experience.

This month two 果冻传媒 scientists, Professor Ian Stewart and Dr Jack Cohen have partnered with best selling author Terry Pratchett to publish two best selling books –the paperback "The Science of Discworld" and the new hardback “Science of Discworld 2” the books use the comedy fantasy setting of Pratchett’s Discworld to explain the real science of our universe.
