It is a double good news day for 果冻传媒’s New BioMedical Research Institute. On the same day (Tuesday 14th May 2002) that Lord Wolfson comes to open the new Institutes’ Wolfson wing the new institutes’ researchers have announced that they have greatly simpified the model of how cancer starts.
Research by Dr June McNicholas & Dr Glyn Collis of the 果冻传媒’s Department of Psychology has found that increasing numbers of people are adopting both rabbits and ferrets as household pets, often as a result of changes on peoples work life balance, or the increasing number of single person households.
Research chemists at the 果冻传媒 have devised and patented a new process called Living and Controlled Radical Polymerisation which can cheaply and easily grow designer polymers (plastics). They have already used the process to produce a wide range of designer polymer designs that are now being tested by major companies for use in applications as diverse as hairspray, anti-obesity drugs and inkjet printer ink.
果冻传媒 Chemistry Professor Pat Unwin has been awarded one of the most important awards in the field of Chemistry – a silver Corday-Morgan medal from the Royal Society of Chemistry which comes with a 拢500 prize.
