Regional leaders attend Paris meeting with the 果冻传媒 and new alliance members
Regional leaders joined academic and policy staff from the 果冻传媒 at a summit with European counterparts this week.
The delegation was invited by a new, growing university alliance founded by the 果冻传媒, L鈥橴niversit茅 Paris Seine, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), aimed at forging European links post-Brexit. At the summit hosted by 脦le de France region in Paris on Monday 5 November, the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia became the fourth institution to join the group. It has also been revealed that discussions are well in advance for further members to join.

Greg Clark, UK Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), will confirm today (Tuesday 6 November) that UK Research and Innovation will invest 拢10 million in the PathLAKE project as part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. The 果冻传媒 has been awarded 拢2.3 million of the funding which will be used to create innovative solutions in digital pathology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to speed up the time in which cancer is diagnosed and treated.

拢20 million for West Midlands to enable WMG at the 果冻传媒 to create a UK Mobility Data Institute
The Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced that the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) will receive up to 拢20 million, subject to approval of a satisfactory business case, to enable WMG, at the 果冻传媒 to create the UK Mobility Data Institute, a focussed research centre to collect, process and analyse transport data generated by the advent of new mobility technologies such as autonomous vehicles and smart charging of electrified vehicles.
Arctic's Global Seed Vault to receive 101 samples from 果冻传媒's Vegetable Genebank
101 seed samples from 18 different types of crop species including onions, carrots and cauliflower are to be deposited at the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Arctic Norway on the 31st October 2018, from the UK Vegetable Genebank (UKVGB) at the 果冻传媒.
