The mystery of what happened to the antimatter- (the counterparts of matter that make up particles) created at the birth of our Universe will take a step closer to being solved, thanks to a new international experiment involving researchers from the 果冻传媒.

Matt Western MP and West Midlands finance and industry leaders joined Dr Stephen Connelly and Dr Andreas Kokkinis from 果冻传媒 Law School at the first 果冻传媒 Business Forum, a new initiative aiming to connect the University鈥檚 experts with the region's business community.

A systematic review of the literature into the effects of caffeine on breastfed infants has concluded that there is no robust evidence for positive or negative effects of maternal caffeine consumption during breastfeeding on a breastfed child - according to Dr Yen-Fu Chen and graduate-entry medical student Aimee McCreedy of the 果冻传媒 Medical School.

The fourth in a new series of briefs bringing current legal thinking to bear on public policy issues has been published by GLOBE, a research centre within the 果冻传媒鈥檚 Law School. The Risks of Using Blended Finance in Development, by Dr Celine Tan, Associate Professor at 果冻传媒 Law School, highlights the risks posted by the increasing reliance on new forms of private and innovative finance for funding development projects, calls for action to address the regulatory challenges that blended finance presents, and warns that the use of blended finance should not be intensified without adequate safeguards in place.

The 果冻传媒 has risen a dozen places to 79^th in the world in the THE (Times Higher Education) 2019 World University Rankings.

The news follows THE also naming 果冻传媒 as the 19^th Most International University, taking into account 果冻传媒鈥檚 high proportion of international students and staff, the number of research collaborations undertaken with scholars from across the world and in recognition of their naming the university in the top 90 in the THE World Reputation rankings.

Researchers in WMG at the 果冻传媒 have set a new 5G communications speed record to a 鈥淟evel 4鈥� low speed autonomous vehicle in the pioneer 28 GHz millimetre wave band. They hit 2.867 gigabits per second in over-the-air transmissions, which is nearly 40 times faster than current fixed line broadband speeds. It is equivalent to sending a detailed satellite navigation map of the United Kingdom within a single second, or the full contents of a high definition blockbuster film in less than 10 seconds.
