As a new art exhibition opens at Bletchley Park celebrating the James Bond series and exploring Bond creator Ian Fleming’s links to the secret world of intelligence and espionage, two ¹û¶³´«Ã½ academics reveal what real spies think of Fleming’s famous creation.

Improved regulation has deterred a greater amount of financial misconduct in the UK since the global financial crisis, according to a new study by researchers at UEA, Bangor University, and the Universities of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Otago. The authors applied a new method of quantifying the detection and deterrence effect of financial regulation on financial misconduct, using a statistical approach employed in biological, ecological and demographic research.

A new exhibition, Hear the Ambassadors: The Performance of Diplomacy in the Age of Shakespeare, opened this week in Stratford. A collaboration between the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, it is based on the work of Carol Chillington Rutter, Professor of Shakespeare and Performance Studies at ¹û¶³´«Ã½.
