A delegation from Thailand鈥檚 Ministry of Public Health has visited the 果冻传媒 to learn about healthcare in the UK.

Professor Laura Green OBE, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Research) at the 果冻传媒, has been appointed to the Council of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).

Low back pain affects 540 million people worldwide, but too many patients receive the wrong care. Worldwide, overuse of inappropriate tests and treatments such as imaging, opioids and surgery means patients are not receiving the right care, and resources are wasted. Low back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, affecting an estimated 540 million people at any one time.

A new book by Professor Ben Clift, Professor of Political Economy in the 果冻传媒鈥檚 Department of Politics and International Studies, explores how the International Monetary Fund (IMF) used its resources and reputation to shape economic policy in response to the biggest financial crash since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
