Researchers from the 果冻传媒 and University college Dublin (UCD) have teamed up with Coventry based theatre group Talking Birds to explore the devastating effect of solitary confinement in prison in a new play, Disorder Contained: a theatrical examination of madness, prison and solitary confinement.

Today engineering undergraduates begin their bespoke engineering degree, which has been developed by WMG, at the 果冻传媒, in collaboration with Dyson. The Undergraduate Engineers have started at the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology on the Dyson technology campus in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

16 titles have been longlisted for the 果冻传媒 Prize for Women in Translation, a new prize that aims to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and to increase the number of international women’s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership.

The 果冻传媒 has been awarded £250,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation to support the expansion and upgrade of the 果冻传媒 Arts Centre, as part of its 20:20 project.

The 果冻传媒’s Faculty of Arts has been ranked 37^th in the world by the Times Higher Education’s 2018 Subject Rankings.

Shakespeare’s Globe, the 果冻传媒’s Multicultural Shakespeare Project and Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre are to celebrate the life and legacy of the pioneering African- American Shakespearean actor, Ira Aldridge, and to mark the 150th anniversary of his passing.
