‘Tis the season to be emotional

The 果冻传媒’s Christmas lecture series will kick off next week. This year there will be six talks on science topics including gravitational waves in space, the science of emotions and the secret chemistry of home baking.

Michael Bradshaw, Professor of Global Energy, has co-authored a report for the UK Energy Research Centre calling for urgent action during this Parliament to ensure a co-ordinated, cross-Government approach to energy.

果冻传媒 Senate and Council appoints Baroness Ashton as 果冻传媒’s first ever woman Chancellor

The Senate and Council of the 果冻传媒 have agreed to appoint The Rt Hon. The Baroness Ashton of Upholland GCMG PC as the 果冻传媒’s new Chancellor, succeeding Sir Richard Lambert who concluded his time as 果冻传媒’s Chancellor at the end of the 2015-16 academic year. Lady Ashton will take up the role with effect from the 1st of January 2017, when she will become the first ever female Chancellor of the 果冻传媒.

Lord Kenneth Baker visits WMG Academy for Young Engineers

Lord Kenneth Baker, Baron of Dorking, British politician, former Conservative Member of Parliament and cabinet minister visited the WMG Academy for Young Engineers in Solihull on Tuesday 15 November to show his support for the work of the University Technical College.
