Hull’s status as City of Culture 2017 will lead to around 3,000 extra jobs in the creative sector in Yorkshire and the Humber, according to forecasts by researchers from the 果冻传媒. Their analysis shows the growth rate in the number of job opportunities for dancers, actors, authors and artists in the region will surpass that in London by 2022.

Young Business Brains Compete to become 2014’s Science Entrepreneurs

On December 17, students from local sixth form colleges will compete before a Dragon’s den-style panel of judges, presenting their business concepts in the hope of being crowned ‘2014 Science Entrepreneurs’ and securing investment for their colleges’ science department.

Organised at the 果冻传媒’s School of Life Sciences, the event aims to cultivate the next generation of scientific entrepreneurs.
