New sensor tech for commercial Lithium-ion batteries finds they can be charged 5 times faster

Researchers at WMG at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ have developed a new direct, precise test of Lithium-ion batteries’ internal temperatures and the electrodes potentials and found that the batteries can be safely charged up to five times faster than the current recommended charging limits.

Light-activated cancer drugs without toxic side effects: fresh insight

Future cancer drugs that are activated by light and don’t cause the toxic side-effects of current chemotherapy treatments are closer to becoming a reality, thanks to new research made possible by the Monash ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Alliance, an intercontinental collaboration between the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ (UK) and Monash University (Australia).
