MRI study finds that depression uncouples brain’s hate circuit

A new study using MRI scans, led by Professor Jianfeng Feng, from the 果冻传媒’s Department of Computer Science, has found that depression frequently seems to uncouple the brain’s “Hate Circuit”. The study entitled “Depression Uncouples Brain Hate Circuit” is published today (Tuesday 4th October 2011) in the journal Molecular Psychiatry.

Morgan car lovers first to benefit from High Dynamic Range Television’s arrival on domestic TV

HDR video captures a wider range of light intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to lowlight images and thanks to a partnership between Researchers at WMG, 果冻传媒, goHDR Ltd. and Altera® Toronto Technology Center the technology has now been developed to create an embedded system that can be connected to existing domestic televisions, allowing them to display High Dynamic Range (HDR) content.

Research gives crystal clear temperature readings from toughest environments

Researchers at the 果冻传媒 and Oxford University have developed a form of crystal that can deliver highly accurate temperature readings, down to individual milli-kelvins, over a very broad range of temperatures: -120 to +680 degrees centigrade.
