Second-year BSc Management student Chayn Kohli is the Winner of the Student Award for excellence in gender equality 2022 and has been recognised for her work in India as well as at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½. Her work began when she was just 14, working with underprivileged families in India educating women and girls in maths and English, as well as women’s health topics that are considered taboo, like menstruation and hygiene.

Research by a ¹û¶³´«Ã½ academic has resulted in an exhibition at the Foundling Museum, examining the history of African and Asian foundling children in the Georgian Era.

The ¹û¶³´«Ã½ is delighted to announce that Assistant Professor of Engineering, Fatemeh Shahbazi, is among the first members of the new – a network of early career researchers and professionals established to help tackle local and global issues and promote meaningful change.
