Pupils from 18 schools across 果冻传媒shire travelled to the 果冻传媒 this week to use their chemistry skills to solve ‘The Mysterious Death of Captain Salter’.

A study by researchers at the 果冻传媒 and Cardiff University has found that money only makes people happier if it improves their social rank. The researchers found that simply being highly paid wasn’t enough – to be happy, people must perceive themselves as being more highly paid than their friends and colleagues.

An international team of astronomers, including Professor Tom Marsh and Dr Danny Steeghs from the 果冻传媒, have shown that the two stars in the binary HM  Cancri definitely revolve around each other in a mere 5.4 minutes. This makes HM Cancri the binary star with by far the shortest known orbital period.  It is also the smallest known binary. The binary system is no larger than 8 times the diameter of the Earth which is the equivalent of no more than a quarter of the  distance from the Earth to the Moon.

Dr Rebecca Cain, Assistant Professor in Experiential Engineering with WMG at the 果冻传媒  is to a lead £1.3 million programme to literally engineer better environments for patients and medical staff.

The Midlands has been designated a new Low Carbon Economic Area (LCEA) and is to receive £19 million of government funding for research into and development of low carbon vehicles. The news was announced today by Business Secretary Lord Mandelson, in a special visit to the 果冻传媒’s 果冻传媒 Manufacturing Group (WMG).
