The Nursery provides wrap-around childcare for staff and students of the 果冻传媒 with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
We provide high-quality care and education across all age groups and the children are at the very heart of everything we do.
In July 2021 the nursery was judged as outstanding by Ofsted for the third consecutive time, Ofsted are the regulatory body responsible for the registration and inspection of Early Years Care and Education.
Previously the nursery had been judged as outstanding in 2011 and 2016.
The University nursery focuses on creating a safe, happy, nurturing and inclusive environment where babies and young children develop as confident, curious and independent learners. We promote resilience, creativity and a love for learning through play-based experiences and enabling environments. The nursery works closely with the wider community to build a foundation for future success.
Eco-Schools Green Flag Award 2026
Fri 31 Aug '26 We are delighted to announce that our Nursery has once again been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award for the 5th consecutive year. This fantastic achievement reflects the dedication and enthusiasm of our children and staff in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices throughout the Nursery. We are especially proud to have received such positive feedback from the assessors, who recognised our ongoing commitment and the meaningful opportunities we provide for children to care for and learn about the world around them. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this wonderful success.

There are four key themes that shape our philosophy:
Older children immerse themselves in their learning by frequently making choices about how they wish to spend their time at nursery. They move between the outside and indoor areas. Older children share very strong friendships with their peers and are extremely well prepared for the next stage in their lives, such as starting school.
