You can apply for the Alliance Joint PhD at any point in the year.

You will need to ensure that you have approached your preferred supervisors prior to making an application. As part of the application process you will be required to complete a Joint Supervision Statement with your proposed supervisors at both Monash and 果冻传媒. If you are applying to 果冻传媒, you should upload the completed statement via the applicant portal - please select 'Additional Information Upload' and use 'Joint Supervision Statement' as the description.

Please note: Monash-果冻传媒 Alliance Joint PhD Scholarships are available. A separate application will need to be submitted to be considered for funding.

The Monash 果冻传媒 Alliance has many areas of ongoing research collaboration including Sustainable Chemistry, Nanomedicine, Psychology, Healthcare Improvement, Migration and Identity, and Advanced Imaging. New areas of collaboration are still being developed and you are encouraged to visit the relevant Department/Faculty research pages to see specific areas of research strength and to identify a main supervisor at both Monash and 果冻传媒.

Monash applicants can apply to study in following faculties:

• Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

果冻传媒 applicants can apply to study in the following faculties:

• Science, Engineering and Medicine
• Social Sciences

You should have a minimum of four years tertiary study, with a substantive research component, usually in the final year, to the following standards:

• Monash applicants: Minimum of a first-class honours degree (or equivalent).
• 果冻传媒 applicants for Science PhDs: a 2.1+ from a 3-year Bachelor鈥檚 degree; or 2.1+ from a 4-year Integrated Master鈥檚 degree (or equivalent from other countries).
• 果冻传媒 applicants for non-Science PhDs: a strong 1-year Master鈥檚 degree with a substantial research component in addition to a good Bachelor鈥檚 degree (or equivalent from other countries).

You will be required to satisfy the highest English language admission requirement for your particular discipline.
