Important Update: Changes to Early Morning Bus Services
Routes 41 and 42, introduced as part of a two-year pilot, will stop operating from Friday 26 September 2025 due to low usage. To minimise disruption, the University has worked with National Express to introduce additional early morning journeys on existing routes, covering areas previously served by 41 and 42 and providing connections to campus.

Partial closure of Cryfield Village car park: Week commencing 11th August
From the week commencing 11th August, there will be a partial closure of bays in the for approximately 1 week to carry out weed removal. To minimise disruption, the work will take place in the early mornings and throughout the week in sections. Bays will be reopened as soon as treatment is completed.
Tocil Wood Bridge - Works taking place W/C 28th of July for one week
Scheduled maintenance works are taking place on the Tocil Bridge from Campus to Gibbet Hill W/C 28th of July for one week.
The bridge will remain open during the works with a partial closure on either side as the works progresses, please follow the directional guidance and if you are cycling please slow down and be prepared to stop on approach to the area.
Temporary traffic restrictions & closure of A429 Kenilworth Road: Mon 18 Aug - Sat 20 Sep
From Monday 18th August - Saturday 20th September, there will be temporary traffic restrictions on the A429 Kenilworth road between the Gibbet Hill road roundabout - Common Lane junction.
- Temporary traffic lights will be in place from Monday 18th August - Tuesday 26th August.
- The road will then be closed from Tuesday 26th August - Saturday 20th September.
The traffic lights and road closure will both be 24 hours a day. Access to all properties will be maintained throughout, with access for pedestrians and cyclists. For further information, please visit .

A46 overnight closures near Kenilworth: Sat 2nd - Sun 3rd & Sat 16th - Sun 17th August
To complete the final works on the vehicle safety system and central reservation, a section of the A46 from the Stivichall Interchange (Festival Island) to the Thickthorn Island (A452 for Leamington and Kenilworth) will be closed overnight on two weekends. Closures will take place each night from 8pm - 6am on:
- Saturday 2 - Sunday 3 August
- Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 August
A contingency date in September will be reserved in case of delays.
