Teaching for a Sustainable Future: Embedding Sustainability Across Disciplines
The second session of the Transatlantic Teaching Exchange SeriesLink opens in a new window brought together educators from over 20 institutions across the UK, US, and Canada to explore how sustainability can be meaningfully embedded in university curricula.
Professor St茅phanie Panichelli-Batalla and Sophie Scholand from the 果冻传媒 provided a provocation on sustainability at 果冻传媒, before participants discussed the realities of institutional strategy, student voice, and the gap between performative and genuine curriculum change. Key themes included the challenge of time and capacity, the need for shared language across disciplines, and the power of student-led initiatives to drive institutional progress. by colleagues from UK and international institutions, with participants leaving with new connections and a richer sense of what teaching for sustainability can look like in practice.
