Congratulations to Naomi de la Tour on her WATE award!
WIE Fellow, Naomi de la Tour is one of this years recipients of the 果冻传媒 Awards for Teaching Excellence.
Professor Sophie Staniszewska, WIE Foundation Fellow, is the guest editor for a of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care. This edition features 24 papers which explore examples from around the world of what people are doing to involve patients. Papers are free access for 3 months to ensure the patient community can read them too.
Success for 果冻传媒 in the first Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) results
In the first Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) report we were delighted that 果冻传媒 placed in the top 10% of English higher education institutes for 鈥淧ublic and community engagement鈥, and the top 20% for 鈥淲orking with business.鈥
Science on the Hill - Catch up if you missed our last event
On Tuesday evening we (WIE!) ran the latest online Science on the Hill public event 'New Scientists: New Research' with the SOTH team from WMS, SLS and QBP. Once again we used the Streamyard online studio which produced the livestream on our 果冻传媒 Youtube channel. Hosted by our very own Honorary Fellow Professor Kevin Moffat, the speakers included Dr Erin Greaves from 果冻传媒 Medical School and Dr Ellie Jameson and Emily Hill from the School of Life Sciences.
