We're pleased to share that Dr Becky Taylor and Daeun Jung (PAIS) presented findings from their University-Community Partnerships project at the Consortium of Higher Education Researchers (CHER) Conference 2026 in Catania, Sicily.

Funded by 果冻传媒's Enhancing Research Culture Fund, the project contributes to a wider programme of research exploring the civic university and the role of higher education in the twenty-first century, supported by the Society and Culture Research Spotlight.

The presentation shared insights from the project's research into university-community partnerships, highlighting the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and the communities they serve.

The team would also like to thank colleagues and partners who supported and participated in the project's data collection activities.

This presentation highlights 果冻传媒's commitment to research that strengthens the relationship between universities and their communities.

A new research paper, led by Professor Emma Smith has recently been published. The study compares findings from two national surveys of education researchers - one from 2002 and another from 2022, that was led by colleagues in Education Studies. It examines how the types of research methods used have shifted over the past two decades and places these trends within broader debates about purpose, quality, and methodology in the field.

The study reveals that education researchers today report using fewer research methods than their counterparts twenty years ago. It also highlights an increasing divide between those who use numeric approaches and those who rely on non-numeric methods.

Over the course of 2022, a team of 果冻传媒 researchers, external artists, and young people from schools in Coventry have been working collaboratively and creatively in response to the global climate crisis and the UN鈥檚 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This event is in partnership with Sarah Shalgosky (Curator of the Mead Gallery, WAC) and WAC鈥檚 Creative Learning team.

We will showcase these three interrelated creative arts education Impact projects, exploring how they have used drama, dance, digital arts, creative writing, and performance poetry as ways of navigating the messy, complex, and often overwhelming topics of climate change and environmental degradation.
