Introduction to the session, overview of the format, and time to settle in, grab refreshments, and briefly introduce yourself to others at your table
11:10–11:20 | Rapid elevator pitch preparation
Light‑touch guidance and prompts to help participants develop and practise a short introduction to their research interests
11:20–12:05 | Speed networking rounds
Five structured, timed conversations with different participants to share work, explore common interests, and identify potential connections
12:05–12:20 | Informal follow‑up discussions
Participants self‑organise into pairs or small groups to continue conversations and explore possible collaboration ideas
12:20–12:30 | Wrap‑up and next steps
Time to reflect on key contacts and discuss options for staying connected, including the use of a shared Padlet or Teams space
