Modules

Develop expertise across the complex game development pipeline.

  • Essential fundamentals: build skills such as programming, data structures, physics, acoustics, networking, modelling and rendering
  • Game engines: gain comprehensive experience with industry platforms including Unreal and Unity
  • Advanced programming: strengthen your expertise in high-level programming languages such as C++ and Python
  • Graphics: learn how cutting-edge visual experiences are created, working in collaboration with ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Visualisation Research Group
  • Artificial intelligence: explore AI and machine learning in games development

Alongside your core modules, you will need to select an elective module so that your taught modules equate overall to 120 CATS (or 1200 hours of learning).

Tuition fees are payable for each year of your course at the start of the academic year, or at the start of your course, if later. Academic fees cover the cost of tuition, examinations and assessment and some student amenities.
