'The Rural Parish in Late Medieval England': The 2026 Harlaxton Medieval Symposium will be convened by Robert Swanson and features a trip to churches at Cherry Hinton and Chesterton. Speakers include Richard Asquith, Peter Clarke, Lydia Fisher, David Griffith, Rachael Harkes, Katie Hawks, Tanya Heath, John Jenkins, David King, David Lepine, Helen Lunnon, Joanna Mattngly, Sarah McKeagney, Nicholas Orme, Zachary Stewart, Barry Sloane, Robert Swanson, and Benjamin Thompson. The Pamela Tudor Craig Lecture will be given by Ian Forrest. Two scholarships are available for PGRs whose research interests closely align with the theme of this year’s Symposium. ‘Reformation and Participation’ - Conference by the Verein für Reformationsgeschichte / Society for Reformation History and the German Historical Institute, London. Paper proposals (in German or English) accompanied by a 150-word abstract and a CV (no more than 2 pages of A4) can be sent to info@reformationsgeschichte.de by 15 September 2026 (London, 30 September – 2 October 2027)
